Presence Technology joins APECCO in the category of technology solutions provider

Presence Technology, renowned worldwide for providing solutions to optimize the performance of the Contact Center, is pleased to announce its entry into the Peruvian Association of Contact Centers (APECCO). With this partnership, Presence Technology aims to strengthen its commitment to the development of the contact center industry and customer service in Peru, and contribute to major industries in the country.

APECCO is the guild leader for driving growth and activity in contact centers in Peru. Today, the Association unites 24 companies from Contact Centers; companies with relevant units devoted to such service, and specialized suppliers in the industry. APECCO provides representation and recognition to its members, providing advice, information services and potential corporate strategies.

Presence Technology, a prominent contributor to the contact center industry in Latin America, will sponsor the APECCO Second Convention, along with its Peruvian partner Omnisys. The event, which will take place September 13th – 14th at the Westin Libertador Hotel in Lima, brings together key industry players. Besides the trade show, participating speakers and international scholars will share their experiences on issues related to customer service, human resources management and global trends in Contact Centers and BPO.

Regarding the affiliation of Presence Technology to APECCO, Carlos Martínez Delfgaauw, Executive Vice President of Presence Technology commented: "For the proper development of the Presence business in the region, its essential to actively participate in Peru, where, according to APECCO statistics, for 2011 it is expected to grow 35% in the contact center industry and employ approximately 30 000 people in outsourced contact centers. "
