The award recognizes the greatest innovation and creativity in the use of technology

Presence Technology, a global software provider of a modular all-in-one Contact Centre Solution Suite, specializing in the optimization of Contact Center performance, announces that Spescom Datafusion, one of its partners in South Africa, has taken top honors at BPeSA’s (Business Process enabling South Africa) National BPO awards, receiving the Technical Innovation of the Year award for its innovative Contact Centre implementation.

The BPeSA BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) awards are acclaimed as one of the most prestigious competitions in this sector, highlighting industry innovation. For the Technical Innovation of the Year category, the award is handed to the vendor that has shown the greatest innovation and creativity in the use of technology to enhance business performance and customer service.

This award recognizes the comprehensive green-field Contact Centre implementation for JD Group’s financial services division within very tight timelines. This implementation was a feat which saw the company’s financial services and debt collection operations consolidate from over 1000 disparate sites to two sites in Durban and Randburg. The highly scalable Presence Inbound and Outbound solution considerably increased the organization’s productivity.

The solution provides JD Group with a true virtual system with single instances of applications being shared between sites and integrates closely with the company’s corporate business applications, is easy to manage and dynamic enough to allow changes to be made quickly and mostly by business users when necessary.
