Presence reinforces Latin American participation by opening new offices in Bogota and Manizales |

Presence Technology, Contact Center software developer, has chosen Colombia to deploy efforts and expand the Latin American market.
Presence Technology, the European software company dedicated to supplying All-In-One Solutions for Contact Centers, is expanding their international operations. Presence has chosen Colombia to serve better its clients and is opening offices in two cities: Bogota and Manizales. Presence has been working with Caribbean and Latin American companies for the past few years, and now has decided to take advantage of Colombia’s open opportunities in the Contact Center industry.
The offices in Manizales are located in El Cable commercial area, which locals consider as a very strategic location. The offices are hosted at the Portal del Cable building and are fully served by highly experienced IT staff and now will serve the America’s for maintenance and support. In addition, the Bogota offices will host the sales team to deploy new market strategies for the Caribbean and Latin American markets.
The Colombian call center and outsourcing industry is considered one of the fastest growing industries in the country, providing substantial income with the highest labor growth. In 2009, the income generated by this industry was close to 1.2 billion dollars, according to the Contact Center and BPO Colombian Association (ACDECC). This represented an 18% growth from the previous year 2008. The forecast for 2012 is an estimate of 2 billion dollars and an employment growth of 150,000 positions. The main employment growth is focused in Manizales and Pereira and there are over 4,000 people employed by Contact Centers in the region.
