Spescom, a JSE-listed integrated business communications solution provider, is taking its partnership with Presence Technology, a provider of contact centre performance optimisation software, to a new level. Based on the success it has achieved with the Presence product suite, Spescom’s DataFusion business will increase its efforts to drive market share and awareness of Presence’s solutions in South Africa and across the African continent.
Says Paul Fick, CEO of Spescom DataFusion: “This move follows the awarding of several new contracts to Spescom DataFusion where the Presence Technology featured strongly. In all, Spescom has completed 25 Presence installations since 2004 and duplicated its license sales in 2007. This translates to nine new clients for the two companies – customers that are considered leaders in strategic sectors such as banking, insurance and distribution. It has also made Spescom the strongest Presence value-added reseller in Africa and its second-most important partner in the EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) region.
