AstriCon is one of the biggest events that brings together the main providers and developers of the Open Source Asterisk platform

Presence Technology, European provider specialized in optimizing the performance of Contact Centers, will take part together with LumenVox –US leader software company in speech recognition - in the AstriCon conference, that will take place the 23rd, 24th and 25th of September in Glendale, Arizona, at the Renaissance Glendale Hotel and Spa.

AstriCon is the official conference of the Asterisk community and offers a wealth of information connected with this IP Open Source telephony platform. The conference is addressed to developers, final consumers and distributors.

This fair will include several conferences, seminars and workshops related to the Asterisk world. The premises will also enable the assistants to get to know first-hand the main companies providing Asterisk platform related solutions.

The objective of AstriCon 2008 is to bring together the main different ranges of Asterisk based products and to get to know the latest innovations related to that platform.

Presence Technology will not only be represented at the fair, it will as well actively take part in the planned events. The Executive Vice President for North America of Presence Technology, Jason Goecke, will give a conference on the 24th of September entitled: “The Elastic Contact Center”.

With the innovative use of the Open Source it is possible to make the Elastic Contact Center a reality for small and medium businesses. The Elastic Call Center offers a software solution concept that works on data and speech hardware and boosts business and innovation models as well as bringing organization and flexibility to their business.
