VoIP2DAY, organized by Avanzada 7, is where the major players in the voice and video over IP industry come together

Presence Technology, a global CTI software company that specializes in optimizing Contact Center performance, is to take part in VoIP2DAY, organized by Avanzada 7, with a session entitled ‘Asterisk in distributed environments: agents working from home', which will be given by Alfredo González, Product Marketing Director at Presence Technology.

VoIP2DAY was created as a meeting point for the world of Voice and Video over IP in Spain and Portugal. The event is one of the year's highlights and energizes a growing local market that leads the way internationally in terms of technology. This year, it is being held alongside the Call Center Conference, in the Colón Hall of the Ifema Northern Convention Center.

The Call Center Conference takes place on 12 November and Presence Technology will open the lectures at 10 a.m. with a talk entitled: ‘Asterisk in distributed environments: agents working from home'. Alfredo González will explain how Asterisk can help to optimize the model of agents working from home by optimizing resources for deployment of management solutions, training, monitoring, security and quality in highly distributed environments.

According to González: "One of the big advantages of using Asterisk in highly distributed environments, as is the case of agents working from home, is not just the fact that it can offer different communication channels between the management team and agents, but also that there is the option to incorporate enriched communication channels such as video and audio conferencing. Moreover, Asterisk enables total integration with presence technologies and instant messaging, providing a unified real-time communication solution between the various work teams."
