Araceli Aranda.
Chief Executive Officer

Araceli Holds a Degree in Law and completed her education with a Higher Course in Business Management and Administration (MBA) from the IESE. She began her professional career at NCR, where she remained for almost nine years as Head of Accounts in the Financial Sector. Later, before joining Presence Technology, she held the position of Country Manager for Spain and Portugal at Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories.

Jose Luis Castaños.
Founder & EVP of Business Development

Is an Electronic Equipment Technical Engineer (EUETT La Salle Barcelona) and Telecommunications Engineer (UPC Barcelona). He received a Master in Business Administration at EADA Business School. He began his professional career as a consultant for Andersen Consulting, then became IT Director at DTG. For more than four years he actively contributed to the growth of DTG. In 2000, he took part in the creation of Presence Technology as Chief Operating Officer, and to date has been involved in the administration and strategic management of the company.

John Franco.
Executive Vice President, North America

John

John Franco is a graduate of Saint John’s University in New York. For more than 20 years, he has held executive management positions in sales, marketing, and operations with several very successful fast growing companies. Prior to joining Presence, he served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at GMT and SGS. Additionally, he has worked with Portrait Software, Eyretel, and other successful CRM software companies. While at Eyretel, John received the prestigious Business Segment Leader Award in 2002 for introducing the concept of “Constellation Partners” - a strategy geared towards maximizing the alignment of the Company, its partners and customers.

Alfredo González.
Product Marketing Director

Alfredo

Alfredo González is a Computer Engineer from the University of Saint Louis (USA). He has a wide range of experience in the technological sector, having worked for the multinational North American company Sitel in a number of management positions during various stages, such as Research & Development Director, Director of Infrastructures for EMEA and Technological Manager in Sitel’s Iberian division. In addition, he has worked for companies including Open Systems Group and InfoGlobal. He has been part of Presence’s team since June 2008.

Chelo Jiménez.
Marketing Director

Chelo

An Information Sciences (CC.II.) graduate from the Complutense University in Madrid, with a Diploma en Political Sciences from the UNED. Doctorate in Information Sciences, specializing in Information Technology. She began her professional career in the Complutense University before moving on to become Marketing and Communications Manager at the technology firm Telenium for four years. She has been part of the Presence team since February 2002.

Miguel Ángel Marcos.
Director of Professional Services and Support

Miguel Ángel Marcos, a Technical Engineer in Management Computer Systems from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, has forged his professional experience in large companies such as ONO, Retevisión, La Caixa, Cystelcom and Airtel. Since July 2007 Miguel Ángel Marcos has worked as Senior Project Manager for Presence Technology; after only one year in the company, he has been promoted to the position of Director of Professional Services and Support.

Carlos Martínez.
Executive Vice President, EMEA & Latin America

Carlos

Carlos Martínez has had an extensive career in the field of consulting and information systems. Before joining Presence, he held the post of CRM Solutions, Contact Centre and e-Business Director at INSA, part of the IBM Spain Group, developing and leading the company’s business solutions department. Previously, he held the position of CRM/e-Business Director for the cluster of PriceWaterhouseCoopers Services.
He has also held management posts in firms such as Coopers&Lybrand, C&L and Seintex. Holding a Diploma in Computer Science from the Technical University of Mérida (Universidad Politécnica), he attended various business courses in prestigious organisations such as ESIC, ICEMD and IESE.

Francisco Segovia.
Technical Director

Fran

Francisco Segovia has a degree in Information Technology Engineering from the UPC Barcelona. He began his professional career as a researcher in government projects and later became Head of R&D at DTG. In 2000, he took part in the creation of Presence Technology as Technical Manager, and to date, as part of its management, has participated in the success of the company and of the products Presence markets.
