Presence Technology Management Team


Araceli Aranda holds a Degree in Law and completed her education with a Higher Course in General Management Programs (PDG) from the IESE. She began her professional career at NCR, where she remained for almost nine years as Head of Accounts in the Financial Sector. Later, before joining Presence Technology, she held the position of Country Manager for Spain and Portugal at Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories.


Alfredo Gonzalez holds an Engineering IT degree from Saint Louis University (USA). He has broad experience in the IT sector and has held various positions such as IT Manager, EMEA Infrastructure Director and IT Regional Director for Iberia and Latam for multinational companies like Sitel and Transcom. Additionally, he has worked for IT consulting companies Open Systems Group and InfoGlobal. Alfredo originally worked for Presence Technology from 2008 to 2012 and rejoined the team again in 2014.

Carlos Martínez

Carlos Martínez has had an extensive career in the field of consulting and information systems. Before joining Presence, he held the post of CRM Solutions, Contact Centre and e-Business Director at INSA, part of the IBM Spain Group, developing and leading the company’s business solutions department. Previously, he held the position of CRM/e-Business Director for the cluster of PriceWaterhouseCoopers Services. 
He has also held management posts in firms such as Coopers&Lybrand, C&L and Seintex. Holding a Diploma in Computer Science from the Technical University of Mérida (Universidad Politécnica), he attended various business courses in prestigious organisations such as ESIC, ICEMD and IESE.

Francisco Segovia

Francisco Segovia has a degree in Information Technology Engineering from the UPC Barcelona. He began his professional career as a researcher in government projects and later became Head of R&D at DTG. In 2000, he took part in the creation of Presence Technology as Technical Manager, and to date, as part of its management, has participated in the success of the company and of the products Presence markets.

Jose Luis Castaños

José Luis Castaños began his professional career as a consultant for Andersen Consulting and eventually became the CTO of DTG, one of the major Contact Centers in Europe that was acquired in 2000 by Teletech Inc. This same year, he took part in the creation of Presence Technology as Chief Operating Officer and continues to drive the operation administration and strategic direction of the company. He moved to the US during four years (2008-2012) in order to establish the US business operations.
José Luis holds degrees as Electronic Equipment Technical Engineer (EUETT La Salle Barcelona), Telecommunications Engineer (UPC Barcelona) and received his Master in Business Administration degree from EADA Business School.

Miguel Ángel Marcos

Miguel Ángel Marcos, a Technical Engineer in Management Computer Systems from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, has forged his professional experience in large companies such as ONO, Retevisión, La Caixa, Cystelcom and Airtel. Since July 2007 Miguel Ángel Marcos has worked as Senior Project Manager for Presence Technology; after only one year in the company, he has been promoted to the position of Director of Professional Services and Support.

Nicolás Poole is Executive Master in Corporate Finance by Esade and holds a Degree in Business Administration by the UAB. He has an extensive experience in the Contact Center industry and finance management. Before joining Presence Technology, Nicolás has worked in companies such as Arthur Andersen, PriceWaterhouseCoopers or TeleTech. In this last company as Financial Director, he lead the department towards a more efficient financial control and operations support.

Paul  Dickinson

Paul has over 30 years in the Communications industry and for the 16 years previous to joining Presence Technology he owned a firm that developed Contact Center solutions for large Telco companies such as Sprint, Verizon, and WorldCom. He also implemented complete services for Multinational Corporation such as UPS designing, installing and maintaining all the Contact Center solutions. Previous to that he held various National Engineering positions with GTE developing communication and Contact Center solutions for their corporate sales and Federal Government Divisions.
